This year’s Pumpkin Painting Party was so much fun. Kids and grown-ups painted pumpkins, danced, and had a good time–all to raise funds for art supplies.
Art teacher, Christina Kimmel, has made many wonderful contributions to the Cook-Wissahickon community, including introducing an arts curriculum using multiple media for the whole school and starting an art club for older grades. She has also brought amazing events to the school such as last year’s Recycled Art Festival and our annual Pumpkin Painting Party.
Thanks to Ms. Kimmel for organizing the event and to all the volunteers who helped out setting up, selling tickets, staffing the refreshment booth, and cleaning up.
