Coming Right Up!

• School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting Monday 12/8 at 5:00 in the school library.  The SAC is a parent/teacher/community advisory board that shapes our school culture, curriculum, and budget.  Want to get involved?  All are welcome.
• Early Dismissal (half-day) on Wednesday 12/10 at 12:24
• Flakes! The Musical:  Evening Show for Families starts at 6:00 on Thursday 12/11 (students need to report to gymnasium in school uniform by 5:40 to get ready for performance).
• Science Fair:  Cook-Wissahickon’s student science fair is this Friday 12/12.  Thanks to iPraxis for their support in making this annual event possible.
• Holiday Shop:  12/15-12/18
• Choir community performances:  12/16 at Hayes Manner, 12/17 5:00 at Roxborough Memorial Hospital.  Read more about our choir here.
• Wissahickon Sustainability Council (a/k/a Green Committee) This award-winning group is transforming the school and grounds into an environmentally friendly and more sustainable campus.  Want to join us?  Our next meeting is Friday 12/19 at 4:30.  All welcome!
• Winter Recess begins on Wednesday 12/24 (no school that day).  School reopens on Monday, January 5th.
