February was a busy month at Cook-Wissahickon with lots of great stuff going on, including fun assemblies, science fair, choir performances, awards assemblies, and practice for the upcoming Seussical the Musical Jr., just to name a few.
And things don’t look to be slowing down in March. Here’s a quick look some important dates for CW families in March. For more information, read our March Newsletter.

March 4 – Kindergarten Open House
March 4 – Carver Science Fair for 7th & 8th Graders
March 8 – Healthier Ever After Assembly For Grades K-3
March 9 – HSA Meeting: 6:30 in the Library
March 14 – 1/2 day: 12:24 Dismissal & WSC Schoolyard Cleanup [Cleanup postponed to Sunday, 3/13 9AM due to weather]
March 15 – 7th Grade Energy Audit
March 18 – Picture Day
March 22-25 – Spring Break
A few other important notes:
Softball and baseball tryouts will be soon. Any middle school students who want to try out need to have a physical form completed by 3/8/16. For questions and details, see Mr. Ramos (baseball) or Mr. Hennessey (softball).
Pretzel order forms for Mar. 15-May 17 went home in February. Pretzel order forms must be returned by March 11. Please note that anyone who ordered pretzels for Jan 26, which was a snow day, will get a pretzel on March 8!
