The end of the school year is just around the corner, but that doesn’t mean things are slowing down at Cook-Wissahickon! Mark your calendars – you’re not going to want to miss out on some great events coming up this month:

Friday, 5/5 – Friday, 5/12: Mother’s Day Gifts on sale in Art Room ($1-$5)
Saturday, 5/6: Alice in Wonderland Jr. 1:30pm
Wednesday, 5/10: Interim Reports
Tuesday, 5/16: No School – Election Day
Saturday, 5/20: Annual CW 5k for Literacy
Tuesday, May 23: HSA Nomination Forms Due
Friday, 5/26: Half Day – 12:24 Dismissal
Monday, May 29: No School – Memorial Day

And, looking ahead, 2nd Annual Field Day will be held Thursday, June 15!

Register now for the 2017 Cook-Wissahickon Run for Literacy on May 20th at 9:00am (rain or shine). Join your classroom team when you register. The classroom with the most team members will win a pizza party for the class, plus a gift card for the teacher! Runners and walkers are welcome! Please register online or by sending in this 5K Flyer 2017! If you can’t make it or have family or friends who can’t make it, you can still support the cause by making a donation! Thanks in advance for everyone’s support!

Also, the CW HSA elections are coming up. Check your student’s backpack for a nomination form. If you or anyone you know is interested in getting involved or running for a position, please fill out the nomination form (you can nominate yourself!). We are always looking for new friends and new ideas to make our school better! All nomination forms are due by May 23! Email the Nominating Committee at cookwisshsa@gmail.com or call the school and leave a message for the HSA with any questions!
