Thanks again to everyone who came out to participate this year’s 5K and to all the volunteers who helped make it a big success!

Don’t forget, Monday, 4/9, is Picture Day. Students do not have to wear their uniforms for pictures.

Also, Thursday, 4/12 is the next Home & School Association Meeting at 5 pm in the school library – please join us! Items on the agenda for this month:

Every Tuesday in April, come out to JD McGuillicuddy’s at 473 Leverington Ave. to support the music program – a percentage of your food bill will be donated to the CW Music Program!

April 9: Picture Day

April 10-25: PSSA Exams

Thursday, April 12: HSA Meeting at 5 pm

Sunday, April 22: Dine to Donate at Chestnut Hill Brewing Co. between 4-8 pm http://chestnuthillbrewingcompany.com/

Wednesday, April 25: Family Fun & Fit Night from 4 to 6 pm. There will be a variety of games and activities for families to participate in, such as Healthy Snack Taste Testing, Hop Sack Relay, Yoga Card Station, Wii Dance, and More. Friday, April 27: Half day – 12:24 dismissal. The music department is holding a Paint Party fundraiser from 1-3 that afternoon. Students can stay after the early dismissal and attend the fundraiser and be picked up by 3 pm. The cost is $20 and includes a canvas, painting supplies, and snacks! If you’re interested, fill out the form and send in $20 per student by April 6! It’s a fun event, and supports the music department!

April 30: Prospective Families Open House: Families looking to attend Cook-Wissahickon beginning in the 2018-19 school year are invited to attend the Open House at 9:30 at Cook-Wissahickon

May 2, 3, 4:  Report Card Conferences with 12:24 Dismissals
