The 6th Annual Cook-Wissahickon 5K!

Cook Sustainbility logoWelcome to the 6th Annual Cook Wissahickon 5k! Cook-Wissahickon is a public K-8 elementary school in the Roxborough/Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia that provides academic excellence in a diverse and welcoming school community. This event will help raise funds for the Wissahickon Sustainability Council (WSC). Informally known as Cook-Wissahickon’s Green Committee, the WSC is a 501(c)(3) organization created with the purpose of transforming the school and grounds into an environmentally friendly and more sustainable campus. The next project for the group is depaving and redesigning the main schoolyard to manage stormwater as well as create a beautiful, dynamic, sustainable park and play area for the entire community

The 2018 Cook-Wissahickon Run for Sustainability will be held
April 7th, 2018 9:00am
(rain or shine)

Time: On-site registration starts at 8:00 a.m. The Run/Walk starts at 9:00 a.m.
Where:  Cook-Wissahickon Schoolyard, 201 East Salaignac Street, Phila 19128
Course:  Start and finish at the school. The course goes through the neighborhood.

Registration cost:
$10 students
$20 adults who register with students
$25 all other adults

On-site (day-of-run) registration fee for adults is $30

Please note: Parents must sign a waiver for all participants under age 18. Parents must accompany participants under age 15.
