Participating in NUT Days—or No Uniform Today Days—is great way to help raise funds for the Cook-Wissahickon Home and School Association. For $1, students are able to dress down in appropriate non-uniform clothes for school. Even if just about half of CW students participate in a NUT Day, we can raise about $250 on any given Friday. This money goes a long way toward providing multiple buses to and from field trips or buses for choir students to participate in the Thanksgiving Day parade each year, and more. All money raised through NUT Days goes directly to the HSA General Fund, which is used to support the school and our students. On occasion, a particular NUT Day will be designated for a specific cause, which we’ll highlight in correspondence through email and our Facebook and Twitter Pages.
